《專訪威爾士王妃殿下》（英語："An Interview with HRH The Princess of Wales"）是英國廣播公司（BBC）時事新聞節目《廣角鏡》於1995年11月20日在英國廣播公司第一台播出的一期節目[1]。威爾斯王妃戴安娜在這集54分鐘的節目中接受記者馬丁·巴希爾的採訪，透露與時任威爾士親王的丈夫查爾斯三世的關係，以及他們後來離婚的原因[2][3][4]。節目在英國獲得近2300萬人觀看，占總人口39.3%[5]。當時BBC被譽為一代人的獨家新聞[6][7]。

2020年，BBC總裁蒂姆·戴維（英語：Tim Davie）就巴希爾利用偽造銀行賬目贏得戴安娜的信任，促成這次訪問的指控，向王妃胞弟斯賓塞伯爵（英語：Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer）道歉[8]。前英國最高法院大法官戴森勳爵約翰·戴森（英語：John Dyson, Lord Dyson）針對該問題進行獨立調查[9][10]，結果發現巴希爾有欺騙行為，違反BBC編輯方針促成這次訪問[11][12]。

採訪於1995年11月5日在戴安娜於肯辛頓宮的客廳舉行，這裡後來成為威廉王子和哈里王子玩耍的房間[2][13][14]。攝像機和錄音設備在全新高保真系統的掩飾下被帶進宮殿[14]。除了主持人巴希爾，《廣角鏡》製片人邁克·羅賓遜（Mike Robinson）和攝影師托尼·普爾（Tony Poole）也在場[2]。為了維持採訪的保密性，最終錄像機一直受到監視，節目剪輯時有保安在場。採訪過後的那個禮拜，BBC編輯政策主管理查德·詹姆斯·艾爾（英語：Richard James Ayre）、周播電視時事節目總監蒂姆·加丹（Tim Gardam）和《廣角鏡》編輯史蒂夫·休利特（英語：Steve Hewlett (journalist)）在伊斯特本大酒店（英語：Grand Hotel, Eastbourne）觀看這次採訪[2]。

《廣角鏡》管理層和英國廣播公司總監（英語：Director-General of the BBC）約翰·比爾特（英語：John Birt, Baron Birt）故意不向英國廣播公司理事會（英語：Board of Governors of the BBC）通報採訪的事情。理事會主席馬爾馬杜克·侯賽（英語：Marmaduke Hussey, Baron Hussey of North Bradley）嫁給了伊麗莎白二世的知己、侍寢官（英語：Woman of the Bedchamber）蘇珊·侯賽夫人（英語：Lady Susan Hussey）。外界擔心如果侯塞夫人在節目播出前就知道專訪的事情，會令人有所懷疑，甚至會造成節目無法播出[14]。負責聯繫BBC和英國王室的皇家聯絡員吉姆·摩爾（Jim Moir）也不知情[2]。電影導演戴維·普特南（英語：David Puttnam）建議戴安娜推掉這次採訪，他後來表示「約翰·比爾特沒有向戴安娜解釋她這樣做的意味，沒有提醒馬爾馬杜克·侯賽，不會原諒他」[14]。

戴安娜提到她以前期待婚姻，後受父母離婚影響，渴望去工作」。媒體不斷的報道及外界的關心，讓她覺得自己是「貨架上的優質商品......大家拿你賺了不少錢」。1983年初次訪問澳大利亞和新西蘭回來後，她「完全變了個人」，放下「責任感以及覺得自己已經變成的苛刻角色」。她對丈夫的時刻關注感到不適，認為自己與「社會的棄兒」毫無二致[3][17]。

戴安娜說自己懷上威廉的時候非常欣慰，但她之後患上產後抑鬱症，其他人認為她不穩定、精神失常。因此她開始自殘，暴飲暴食，而查爾斯與卡蜜拉·帕克·鮑爾斯重燃愛火後，自殘及暴食傾向進一步加重。她認為丈夫和帕克·鮑爾斯的曖昧關係，仿佛是「我們三個人一起結婚」。戴安娜覺得自己被迫履行威爾士王妃的角色，查爾斯的朋友看到她的舉動，覺得她「又不正常又病了，應該在家好好待着」，這讓她「非常尷尬」[3][17]。

約翰·比爾特後來在他的回憶錄中寫道，「戴安娜專訪意味着BBC結束制度層面上對皇室的景仰，儘管本身未受人尊重」。比爾特曾就BBC接觸英國皇室成員的事宜，聯絡費洛斯男爵羅伯特·費洛斯（英語：Robert Fellowes, Baron Fellowes）和羅賓·揚夫林（英語：Robin Janvrin），他表示「很抱歉傷害了這樣優秀的人們」[14]。受採訪影響，BBC喪失專門製作英王聖誕致辭的權利，不過白金漢宮否認是採訪使然，表示新協議「反映時下電視與廣播行業的構成」[18][19][16]。

2020年11月，專訪25周年，公眾重新關注這場訪問。除BBC以外，全英國的有線電視台（英語：Analogue terrestrial television in the United Kingdom）均製作是次專訪的紀錄片，包括獨立電視網《戴安娜專訪：王妃的復仇》（"The Diana Interview, Revenge of a Princess"）[23]、第四台《戴安娜：訪問背後的真相》（"Diana: The Truth Behind The Interview"）[24]和英國第五台《戴安娜：震撼世界的專訪》[25]。

紀錄片播出後，BBC總監蒂姆·戴維（英語：Tim Davie）就使用偽造銀行賬目，向王妃證明她身邊人僱人監視她，向王妃胞弟斯賓塞伯爵（英語：Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer）致歉[8][7]。偽造的銀行賬目由公司僱傭的自由平面設計師馬特·韋斯勒（Matt Wiessler）一手製造。然而1996年BBC的內部調查認為相關文件未被用來確保這次專訪成行，洗清了巴希爾的嫌疑。《星期日郵報》指出偽造的賬目後[26]，後來於2020年繼任蒂姆·戴維，出任BBC總監的托尼·霍爾主導調查，他承認馬特·韋斯勒未在1996年的內部調查中接受盤問[27]。採訪播出一個月後，韋斯勒的家遭洗劫，裝有要交付給巴希爾的照片的兩張CD被偷[28]。2020年，韋斯勒表示自己在1996年的調查中當了替罪羊，洗脫了巴希爾罪名，工作也丟了[29]。類似地，BBC製片人馬克·基里克（Mark Killick）因關注偽造的賬目，被從《廣角鏡》節目組調走[30]。

2020年11月13日，消息指BBC找到威爾士王妃留下的便條，澄清巴希爾未迫使她接受訪問[35]。BBC前皇室記者珍妮·邦德在《星期日泰晤士報》專欄表示王妃在1996年底的私人會面中，透露自己不後悔接受訪問，又擔心皇室針對即將到來的離婚協議下達封口令（英語：Gag order），所以這次訪問是她唯一的機會[22]。

獨立調查與結果[編輯]

2020年11月18日，BBC消息就採訪的來由進行獨立調查，由前英國最高法院大法官（英語：Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom）約翰·戴森（英語：John Dyson, Lord Dyson）主持[9][10]。次日，劍橋公爵威廉王子發聲明支持調查，認為此舉「是正確的一步」，「有助於發掘《廣角鏡》專訪來由及BBC當時後續決定的真相」[36]。薩塞克斯公爵哈里王子據稱當時已「了解」調查行動，不斷收到狀況更新[37]。

2021年3月4日，倫敦警察廳宣布，經「詳細評估」並諮詢警方律師、獨立顧問及皇家檢察署（Crown Prosecution Service），不會對有關指控展開刑事調查[38]。同月晚些時候，巴希爾向BBC調查組表示自己沒有散播皇室的不利言論，說服王妃參加專訪，認為王妃很可能是這項言論的出處[39]。這些不利言論包括指控威塞克斯伯爵愛德華王子接受艾滋病治療、女皇有心臟問題考慮退位、威爾士親王與孩子們的保姆蒂吉·萊格-伯克（英語：Tiggy Legge-Bourke）有艷遇[39]。

巴希爾認為，在戴安娜面前提起這些指控，會暴露出他的「完全是幻想家」的面目，削減採訪她的幾率[39]。他又表示戴安娜和神婆和千里眼交流過，對方向她透露了那些假消息[39]。3月晚些時候，消息指巴希爾自己向戴安娜提供了偽造蒂吉·萊格-伯克去墮胎的「收據」，讓戴安娜認為萊格-伯克與查爾斯外遇後懷孕[40]。

戴安娜的兩位公子在結果公布後各自發表聲明，威廉譴責BBC領導層及員工向他母親撒謊，讓她「害怕、偏執、受孤立」[46]。他認為那場採訪製造了「虛假陳述」，合法性存疑，不適合重播[46]。哈里還指責媒體和狗仔隊，認為「剝削文化和不道德行為的連鎖反應」讓母親殞命[46]。戴安娜胞弟斯賓塞公爵認為那場專訪，與促成胞姐在兩年後「沒有任何實質性保護」而去世的連串事件有關聯[47]。BBC總監蒂姆·戴維作出「全面、無條件的道歉」，公司也向查爾斯親王、威廉和哈里王子及斯賓塞伯爵發去道歉信[48][49][50]。設計師馬特·韋斯勒收到BBC方面的道歉，但他認為道歉信「太輕率，來得太遲」，指責BBC「利用了他」，又稱掩蓋這件事的高層從未私底下和他道歉[30][51][52]。戴維致函BBC的員工，要求各員工「吸取教訓、力求改善」[51]。前BBC新聞總監詹姆斯·哈定（英語：James Harding (journalist)）就專訪和2016年返聘巴希爾「和我一起共事」道歉[51]。

前BBC總監托尼·霍爾和約翰·比爾特、現任總監蒂姆·戴維（Tim Davie）、主席理查德·夏普（英語：Richard Sharp (BBC chairman)）於6月15日接受下議院數字、文化、媒體與體育委員會（英語：Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee）的質詢[64]。聽證會上，朱莉安·奈特進一步批評返聘巴希爾的決定，稱巴希爾是「過街老鼠」，返聘他是「道德的淪喪」[65][66]。霍爾表示1996年BBC內部的背景調查認為巴希爾「誠實正直，屢獲殊榮」是「錯誤判斷」所致，，調查人員對他的信任被「濫用，存在錯誤」。霍爾否認有掩蓋事實的行為。比爾特認為事件「絕對是恐怖故事」，自稱被「犯下工業規模詐騙行為的人」欺騙，指對方犯下「廣播史上最大的罪行」[64][65]。蒂姆·戴維表示2016年返聘巴希爾的時候，1996年的調查報告是唯一記載了採訪的官方文件，而這份報告未發現戴森勳爵報告裡提到的不當行為[65]。

巴希爾和羅賓遜憑藉這次專訪，在1996年英國電視學院獎（英語：1996 British Academy Television Awards）上獲得最佳清談節目獎[67]。巴希爾還獲得電視與廣播行業俱樂部（英語：Television and Radio Industries Club）年度最具事實或科學性節目獎（Factual or Science Based Programme of the Year）、廣播新聞公會（英語：Broadcasting Press Guild）年度電視記者獎（TV Journalist of the Year）和皇家電視學會年度記者獎（Journalist of the Year）[68][69][70]。道森報告出爐後，BBC決定歸還全部榮譽[49][71]。
