2022年2月1日，幾內亞比索發生未遂政變[1][2][3]。
當天，武裝人員包圍了幾內亞比索政府大樓，扣押了政府人員並殺死了政府安全人員[4]。當時該國總統烏馬羅·西索科·恩巴洛和總理努諾·戈梅斯·納比亞姆原計劃前往該大樓參加一個內閣會議。在聽聞武裝人員襲擊大樓後，烏馬羅·西索科·恩巴洛停留在他的官邸，並未出發[5][2]。武裝人員最終被擊退。[4][6]
西非國家經濟共同體和非洲聯盟發佈聲明譴責此次政變襲擊[2][7]。
