忒奧克里托斯

忒奧克里托斯（希臘語：Θεόκριτος，約前310年—前250年），為古希臘著名詩人、學者，是西方田園詩派的創始人。早年曾在亞歷山大學習，後返回西西里島生活。一生從事詩歌創造，最為出名的成就還是田園詩歌的創作。在此之前的所謂的田園詩歌只是一種與音樂結合起來的民間創作，而忒奧克里托斯則將它徹底轉化為一種純文學體裁。在他之後，田園詩派得到了巨大的發展，並逐漸成為歐洲文學中的主流體裁。
